Art Vibes offers appraisal reports for the purposes of estate valuations, charitable donations, and for insurance for either scheduling or a damage and loss claim.

Everything is examined, studied, analyzed, and described in writing. Such considerations as style, condition, previous ownership, authorship, subject matter, size, authenticity, the relevant market in order to determine appropriate comparable works of art for use in calculating a replacement value, all play a role in assigning a value. The Appraisal report is written according to the market standards prevailing.

We as art appraisers are neutral non-conflicted professionals who value art for a living. The verbal consultations generally provided are not appraisals; they are consultations, informal opinions based on limited information, are appropriate to help in plans to buy and sell. They are not appropriate for insurance, IRS, loan collateral.

Our appraisals will benefit the client as we perform the research and will gather data to guide in estimating what the subject work of art would sell for in the appropriate market at a given date. We will consider levels of taste, availability of like objects, rarity, cost of cleaning or repair if needed, and the history of sales of close comparables.
